RESEARCH BACKGROUND AND FIELD OF INTERESTS

General

Mathematical modeling and analysis of mechanical behavior of engineering structures, especially shells, plates and beams made of fibrous composite and FGMs

Energy and variational principles and methods.

 

The employed mathematical methods are:

      Modification of exact method [1,3,10]

      Generalized Differential quadrature rules, (GDQR). The results are published in [2,4,6,12]]

      Rayleigh Ritz method [2]

      Semi-analytical Finite element method on cylindrical shells [5]

      Finite strip method on rectangular plates
